Swan’s new single, “Sidepiece”, is a song about an affair that you know won’t work out, but you continue anyway because you crave the attention and excitement it brings. The Alternative R&B singer, songwriter, and producer Swan sets herself apart with a blunt yet poetic songwriting style, sophisticated harmonies, and groovy productions. Last year, she opened for Jeangu Macrooy and legendary soul singer Gladys Knight at Royal Theatre Carré in Amsterdam. This year she’s the support act of Pete Philly & Perquisite’s European tour and she will play at the North Sea Jazz festival. Earlier this year, she released her debut EP, “Underneath My Façade”, produced in collaboration with Perquisite, which explores the balance between loving others and loving herself.
