In the past years, Monsieur Dubois has created a strong live reputation with an attractive mix of junglebeats, souljazz, funk and afrogrooves. What started as a challenge to gain the attention of the public without vocals, just by instrumental means, has lead to a unique crossover that sounds both catchy and sophisticated and shows a high level of tight inter- play which grabs you right away. In the meantime the many successes in and outside of the Netherlands together with a wide range of fans raised over the years, offer Monsieur Dubois an international status as leading Nu Jazz-act.
Unfortunately, after 12 years of working together, Monsieur Dubois decided to disband in 2012.
