‘Wish You Well’ is the third single from Amsterdam-based alternative R&B singer-songwriter Swan. The 22-year-old addresses the subject of vulnerability among men with this song by singing to her father, who has profoundly influenced her life. The song starts out very intimate, then gradually shifts towards a confluence of big drums, electronic elements and an outburst of built-up emotions. Her mesmerizing voice, paired with a compelling production, captivates the senses. Swan sets herself apart with a blunt yet poetic songwriting style with honest vocals and sophisticated harmonies supported by groovy productions. Her debut EP, which she is producing with Perquisite, is set for release at the start of 2024.
