Released today on Unexpected Records: ‘Safety Net’, the second EP by Swan. On ‘Safety Net’, Swan explores the difficulty of letting go of old patterns that no longer serve her. Across the EP, she navigates the space between body and mind while trying to follow her intuition. The concept of light, also visible in the cover artwork by Morena Schwarzwälder, runs like a common thread through the project as a metaphor for unprocessed emotions, sometimes guiding you forward, sometimes blinding you, and sometimes pulling you back in.

Produced by Anwar Sawyer (known for his work with Audrey Nuna), with co-productions from Dominic Charles, Jeff Shum and Konstantin Ladurner, ‘Safety Net’ shows the complexity of relationships through Swan’s signature blend of honest yet poetic lyrics, layered harmonies and groovy, atmospheric productions.
