It’s time for a major update. First of all the soundtrack of ‘Carmen van het Noorden’ by Perquisite will be released upcoming Monday, September 28th on Unexpected Records in collaboration with Fu Works. The film, which will have it’s premiere at the Dutch Film Festival tomorrow stars Tygo Gernandt and Sanguita Akkrum in the lead rolls, as well as Thom Hoffman. For the soundtrack Perquisite has worked with the cream of the crop of the Dutch Hip Hop scene, including GMB, Jiggy Djé, Turk, Duvel, Typhoon and Sticks as well as with Sanguita, Urita and Forecast Jah Reign. The movie, which was directed by Jelle Nesna and completely scored by Perquisite, will be playing in theatre’s throughout The Netherlands from next week on.

On other big news, Pete Philly & Perquisite are currently in the middle of their last tour, which they’ve called the Final Celebration Tour. For this tour they play exclusively in theatre’s around The Netherlands and they perform on stage together with 11 musicians, including a brass section and a full string quartet. It’s probably the most special way they’ve ever performed their songs. The last show on October 29th has already been sold out but for the other 12 shows there are still tickets available.
