Perquisite was named one of the ten ambassadors of the fundraising campaign ‘Klassiek Geeft’, organized by Radio 4 NL. Other ambassadors included her majesty the Queen of the Netherlands, Maxima, and Herman van Veen. ‘Klassiek Geeft’ evokes people to donate their unused musical instruments so they can be refurbished and then used in music lessons at primary schools. The goal of the charity is getting children to learn to play an instrument at a young age. In order to raise money, every ambassador auctioned something online. Perquisite auctioned a day in the studio with himself, raising 1.050 euro. For more info, please visit the Klassiek Geeft website.

Also, Perquisite became the host of a new weekly item on Radio 6 NL called ‘Perq’s Preference’, in which he chooses a song that has been inspiring to him. Every week he picks a different song, which is then aired on Wednesday night. Check out last week’s item right here.
